It was inevitably that time. Because mullet hair isn't flattering on anyone. Even cute two-year olds. I made an appointment at Cool Cuts 4 Kids (which I highly recommend!), loaded us into the car, and took Maddie to get her first hair cut. The stylist started up a Wubbzy movie, popped Maddie into the firetruck salon chair, and put the cape over Mad's shoulders ~ which was right about the time that I reached for my camera and realized I had forgotten it at home! DOOHHH!!! Pregnant-Brain strikes again!! I managed not to cry (I am still irritated that I forgot it) and watched in amazement as my otherwise fidgety pumpkin sat still to let a complete stranger cut her hair. She even got mad when we had to leave. I am so proud of her and am in love with her new hair-do.
