Ahh, Mondays...

Well, I'm trying to post some photos here and it's not working. Just one of those days.

Maddie is on illness #4 since January. She's been running fevers of about 102-degrees since Saturday. Yesterday, she began to have a frog in her throat and a runny nose. Today, her pediatrician found a nice infection brewing in her left ear. She doesn't want to eat and is drinking a little. She needs to keep her little kidney flushed, so I hate when she doesn't want to drink. It's the worst part about her getting sick; I know how hard it is to drink when your nose is stopped up and your ear hurts, but ~ at the same time ~ I can't let her get dehydrated. Dr. McDavitt said that 'tis the season for repeat viral infections and factor in her weekly class at The Little Gym. Thankfully (?), Maddie is feeling rotten enough that she actually wanted to go to the doctor so the visit was an easy one. She even brought her stuffed duck to show to "Dr. Davitt".

Anyhow, after two nights of no sleep and minimal naps, Little Miss Sickly is knocking on her bedroom door for me to come get her...guess that means no nap again today.

Argh...
