After many requests to go, I finally took Maddie to the germ-infested fun house known as Chuck E. Cheese! She could hardly wait to go and did the two-year olds version of "Are we there yet?" the whole way up the freeway. It's been a long time since I've seen her so excited for something.
A "sketch" that she is very proud of. She says, "That's me and you, mommy!"

Kind of enjoying a ride ~ which got stuck half way up.

On the Barney ride, which was a little too baby-ish for her liking.

Ahhh, the Teletubbies. A.K.A. the characters from hell. If there is one rule in my home, it is that these little creatures are NOT allowed to grace our TV. Ever. And their ride stunk.

Now THIS is more like it! With her hands on the wheel and my foot on the gas pedal, she drove Patrick (from SpongeBob) into 9 walls, 1 ocean, and 2 barricades. She loved this game.

Smiling in the big car ride. Before it started. She wanted out as soon as it began to move.

The fire truck...always a blast!

The myth. The mouse. It was thee Chuck E. Cheese, in the fur! She waved at him for darn near forever, showed him her lemonade, and tried to talk to him. She's been complaining all day today that Mr. Cheese couldn't hear her. Animatronic robotics and their lack of communication skills are not easy concepts to grasp.
