(The camera is making all the blue areas appear gray and the red looks really orange)

For some reason (lighting, I'm sure), the blue tones are showing up gray in these photos and the red looks orange. The top photo with both paintings is the most accurate (it really bothers me that these aren't true to the colors!). I can't decide if these are finished or not, but it seems that the more I want to fiddle with them, the more likely I will mess them up. Anyhow, they were fun to make and I'm semi-pleased with how they turned out. Maddie likes them very much and was excited that the last little fellow I added was the dog ~ complete with a conductor's hat!
