Day At the Park

Getting ready to go on our first trip to the park!



First time on a swing:

We went down the slide together:

And ready to go home after some sightseeing


Once home, we climbed on stuff which was waaaay funny


Then, it was nap time! Nite-nite!

This is from the other day and I love this shot. She was yelling at that poor unicorn while it was singing to her. It was pretty funny :)



New talents this week:

She points to objects

She will turn toward a familiar object if you ask her where it is

She's getting good at walking using the furniture

She can stand on her own for a couple seconds

She is enthralled with the shiny silver doorknobs all over the house (I had to put her little white socks over the knobs in her room to conceal them, as she wants to play with them instead of nap). While we were exploring the science of door, doorknobs, & latches the other day, she said, "Duh-bob". Maddie-speak for "doorknob"??? ...perhaps. Perhaps just wishful thinking on mommy's part.
