Knocked Out

Today was Maddie's 6 month well visit and it was a doozey! She screamed when the nurse measured her, screamed when the doctor checked her mouth and nose...and her shots??? Holy COW, I thought we were all going to go deaf in there! She cried all the way out to the car and didn't stop until we got moving; it was awful. She's in the 90th percentile, weighing 18lbs 13oz and is 27 inches tall. Dr. M said that she could see both top teeth trying to make their debut (I kept thinking that I could see them beneath those little gums). The doctor also said it is definitely time to start baby-proofing the house: cabinet locks, stair gates, closing the toilet lids and the bathroom doors, outlet covers, etc., etc. More stuff for me to be paranoid about ~ yaaay.

( *** Sigh *** )

She's such a big girl. People sure weren't lying when they said, "Your kids grow up so fast". I can hardly wait to have another one. Or two...or three :)
