Exploration of Music: A Study in Black & White

Sorry my posts have become few and far between. I can't sit on the computer while Maddie's awake and the dang computer is running so slow that I'd spend her entire nap time uploading photos; I've got too much to do around the house. Anyway, new things around here lately:
+ TONS of teeth trying to come in! Tylenol doesn't help and Oragel wears off too quickly, so Maddie and I are back to mostly sleepless nights.
+ She can stand for 10-30 seconds on her own, but I think she's afraid to try walking by herself.
+ I have the entire Toy's 'R Us baby toys isle sitting in our closet, waiting for Christmas morning. (!)
+ She got her first diaper rash this morning. Joy.
+ I have to get her blood drawn to check for anemia ~ AND for lead. Why lead?? Because of the garbage toys and such that we get from China. Pretty pathetic.
+ She says, "Mamamama" when she wants me.
+ She says, "Nah-nah-nah..." when she's unhappy or doesn't want something.
+ She hasn't said any real words yet (except something that sounds like 'Wow' when she's excited), but she can say her letter sounds A-Z, Ch, Sh, and Th.
+ She gives me unsolicited kisses, as well as kisses her favorite 'Little Frog' stuffed animal, her 'Lady Frog' (pictured above), and she LOVES Barney's "I Love You" song. Doesn't matter what she's fussing about; if you break into a verse of "I love you, you love me...", she's all better.
That's pretty much it! Daddy's doing great and I'm pretty good, too. I've been thinking about starting a birth announcement company (like the announcements I sent to all of you when Madelyn was born). I think that I'm artistic enough, creative enough, I love design, and I love babies. I think I could really make a decent income with it and still stay at home with Maddie. It would afford us to grow our family (I want more kids!). Unfortunately, business start-up costs money and money is definitely one thing we don't have. So, Santa, if you read blogs, here is my Christmas list: $50,000.00 to start my business. I have been really good all year; for the past several years in fact.=)
XOXO

Bunch O' Pictures...

Today, playing with her first ball

Yesterday, spilling her juice...

And spreading it over the tile!

Banging on the dishwasher

Playing with Daddy

Playing piano. She even picks which keys she wants to play

Licking the door. YUM!

Wanting the camera, as usual

Smiles for Mama!

...and a fussy yell

Bird watching...this is her excited face :)

"Whoa!!"

Messing up a newly cleaned nursery and sharing toys with me
